Rep. Williams On His Veterans’ Tele-Town Hall: “Our Veterans Are Hurting, My Office is Helping”

Rep. Brandon Williams, joined by the Chairman of the House Veterans Affairs Committee, Rep. Mike Bost, held a virtual town hall event with veterans across Central New York and the Mohawk Valley.

WASHINGTON, DC — Last night, Congressman Brandon Williams (NY-22), held a tele-town hall event to address Veteran related issues in NY-22. Rep. Williams was joined by the Chairman of the House Veteran Affairs Committee, Rep. Mike Bost, to answer questions about  the needs of and support services for Veterans and their families. The virtual event was very well attended by constituents across Central New York and the Mohawk Valley.

“Our veterans are hurting and my office is stepping up to help. These brave heroes who put their lives on the line to protect us, deserve not only our gratitude, but genuine support that is effective and efficient,” said Congressman Brandon Williams. “Last night, we had a productive dialogue about the support services offered by the federal government, how my office can ensure those services are rendered in Central New York and the Mohawk Valley, and ways that we can make the system work more for our veterans and their families in need.”

Brandon Williams is a member of the U.S. House of Representatives for New York’s 22nd Congressional District. Brandon is a naval veteran, having served as a Nuclear Submarine Officer, is an entrepreneur, and a devoted husband and father. He currently resides in Central New York with his wife of over 30 years and their dog Beatrice.
