Rep. Williams Gives Update on Constituent Services, How Office Can Help Locals

Rep. Brandon Williams constituent service operation is in full force, having closed over 700 cases, including 84 veteran benefit cases, 46 social security cases, 66 IRS cases, obtained more than 130 passports, and brought back more than $3 million back to local constituents.

Cases Opened: 854

Cases Completed for Veterans: 84

Passports Obtained: over 130

Social Security Cases Closed Favorably: 46

IRS Cases Closed Favorably: 66

Funds Brought Back to the District: $3,184,985.59

 

An Anecdote


IRS Case: A constituent contacted Rep. Williams' office for assistance with her deceased father-in-law’s tax return. The family received a refund of more than $14,000 with assistance from the office.

Constituents in Central New York and the Mohawk Valley know that our office is the place to go when they need help with federal agencies,” said Congressman Brandon Williams. “A top priority of mine when entering office was to ensure we built a robust constituent services operation with dedicated staff prepared to fulfill the local needs of our neighbors. I am proud to say we are doing the people's work.”

Brandon Williams is a member of the U.S. House of Representatives for New York’s 22nd Congressional District. Brandon is a naval veteran, having served as a Nuclear Submarine Officer, is an entrepreneur, and a devoted husband and father. He currently resides in Central New York with his wife of over 30 years and their dog Beatrice.
