YEAR IN REVIEW: Rep. Williams’ First-Year in Congress

“The spectacle of our national politics these last twelve months have amplified the need for common sense and experienced leaders—I have a strong voice in Congress to advocate for the citizens of Central New York and the Mohawk Valley,” said Congressman Brandon Williams.

SYRACUSE, NY — Congressman Brandon Williams’ (NY-22) first-year in Congress has come to a close with great success and should reassure constituents across New York’s 22nd Congressional District that they are effectively being served and supported. Since being sworn in for his first-term in Congress, Rep. Williams secured spots on the House Committee for Education and Workforce (E&W), Committee for Science, Space, and Technology (SST), and the Committee for Transportation and Infrastructure (T&I). Additionally, serving as the Energy Subcommittee Chairman for SST.


From the beginning of his first-year, Rep. Williams has clearly stated his priorities are focused within the scope of manufacturing, energy, and infrastructure, with a mission of bringing families back home to Central New York and reinforcing America’s commitment to propping up the new “Silicon Empire” based in NY-22.

Brandon Williams is a member of the U.S. House of Representatives for New York’s 22nd Congressional District. Brandon is a navy veteran, trained nuclear engineer, tech entrepreneur, political outsider, and a devoted husband and father. He currently resides in Central New York with his wife of over 30 years and their dog Beatrice.
