Rep. Williams on Oneida Police Clearing Homeless Encampment

The February 14th cleanup effort removed over 2,000 pounds of rubbish, feces, and assorted debris.

“After months spent advising those living in this encampment that shelter and drug treatment resources were available to them, the city had to take action to clean this space that had only become less sanitary and more hazardous over time.

“Our local communities need the support and resources to continue tackling the homelessness crisis, which will soon be aggravated by ongoing illegal migration into New York, thanks to the policies of the Progressive-left.”
