Rep. Williams Hosts Special Order Honoring Fallen Police Officers

“Times like these remind us forcefully, tragically, that evil and danger are ever-present, but that heroes still exist amongst us. Heroes like Lieutenant Michael Hoosock. Heroes like Officer Michael Jensen. Heroes like every single man and woman behind their badge and in front of all decent folks they protect and serve, and their families.”

SYRACUSE — Last night, Congressman Brandon Williams (NY-22) led members of the House of Representatives in a Special Order, wherein the lives and sacrifice of local heroes Lieutenant Michael Hoosock and Officer Michael Jensen were recognized and honored.

Rep. Williams was joined by Representatives D’Esposito, Tenney, Molinaro, Lawler, Rutherford, Ezell, Stauber, Fischbach, and Maloy.

On the family of Lieutenant Hoosock, who was in attendance, Rep. Williams said the following:

“Today, Cait, this nation honors your brave husband. Kids, this nation is grateful for his noble service. Humbly, I will tell you that we mourn with you and that we recognize your suffering and your sacrifice. May God bless and keep you, and watch over each one of you. You will not be forgotten,” Rep. Williams said.
