Rep. Williams: Appointment of Joe Guy, Syracuse-native, as Chief of Staff

Rep. Williams hired Joe Guy, a Syracuse-native and Syracuse University alum, to serve as Chief of Staff.

Washington, DC — Today, Congressman Brandon Williams (NY-22), announced his appointment of Joe Guy as his Chief of Staff. Joe is a Syracuse-native who graduated summa cum laude from Syracuse University with a degree in Economics and received his Masters of Public Policy from Georgetown University. He then interned with the Heritage Foundation and the White House, served as an Advisor at the U.S. Agency for International Development, and has legislative experience on Capitol Hill.

Most recently, Joe was the Director of Programs at the Club for Growth Foundation. The Club for Growth is a national network of over 500,000 pro-growth, limited government Americans who share in the belief that prosperity and opportunity come from economic freedom.

“Joe brings years of experience and knowledge to our Office and his upbringing in Central New York is an asset to the work we are doing for New York’s 22nd congressional district,” said Congressman Williams. “I am pleased to announce the appointment of Joe Guy as my Chief of Staff and know that he will do an exceptional job serving his hometown district.”


Brandon Williams is a member of the U.S. House of Representatives for New York’s 22nd Congressional District. Brandon is a naval veteran, having served as a Nuclear Submarine Officer, is an entrepreneur, and a devoted husband and father. He currently resides in Central New York with his wife of over 30 years and their dog Beatrice.
