Rep. Williams voted to PASS the TRANQ Act, a bill he co-sponsored and held an in-district roundtable to discuss with county law enforcement and public health officials.

Washington, DC — Today, Congressman Brandon Williams (NY-22), voted to pass the TRANQ Act (H.R. 1734), which would require the federal National Institute of Standards and Technology to coordinate its science and research activities regarding illicit drugs containing xylazine, novel synthetic opioids, and other substances of concern.

Brandon Williams. “This is not a partisan issue, it is an American issue. I remain steadfast in my pursuit to disrupt, dismantle, and defeat the opioid and overdose crisis that has taken our nation hostage.”
