Immediately following reports of missiles launching into Israel, I made a public statement strongly condemning the Palestinian terrorists who attacked. The jihadists and their supporters are enemies of humanity and enemies of peace. I stand with the Israeli people as they protect their families, homes, and border. Baruch dayan ha'emet.
As the weekend continued, the images and videos of what took place began to circulate online and on our screens at home. It was made clear, the jubilant murderers of Hamas are the ISIS extremists of today. There is no political objective that justifies their blood-lust and inhuman brutality.
Like ISIS, they must be destroyed and their ideology condemned by the entire civilized world. Every organization that supports Hamas is devoid of legitimacy.
On Sunday, I called attention to our country:
"How many jihadist terrorist are in the United States right now? We don’t know! Nobody knows, because our Progressive leaders have left our country unprotected. Hamas says they’re not afraid of our warships off their coast. Perhaps that’s because they’ve been infiltrating our country for months. At dawn we slept. 12/7/41, 9/11/01, 10/7/23."
Instead of focusing on the terror taking place in Israel, the media tried calling out my statement and said we have no evidence for this claim...
How is this? More than 150 on the terror watchlist have been intercepted at the border just this year—we know that hundreds, if not thousands of illegal migrants evade our Border Patrol and law enforcement officers every single day.
We would be terribly naive to think that our enemies are not taking advantage of our open border. I’ve seen it first hand, our Southern Border is anarchy.
Vigilance is the price of freedom. Ignorance and wishful thinking are far too costly. Remember Pearl Harbor and 9/11, at dawn we slept.
We must remain vigilant. We must keep the Israeli people in our prayers. And we must unequivocally Stand With Israel.
