A Message from Rep. Brandon Williams:

Our 22nd Congressional District encompasses all of Oneida, Madison, and Onondaga counties, and a sliver of Oswego County. As always, I am working to support families in CNY and the Mohawk Valley, improve our local infrastructure, grow manufacturing, and rein-in energy costs through common sense engineering and business practices. As a Navy Veteran, I stand with and for our veterans. I am protecting Social Security and Medicare for our elderly, and I always speak up for our law enforcement, firefighters, and first responders.

As the father of two adult children and husband of thirty years, I also got to celebrate all of the Father's in our lives, thanked them for all that they do, and wished them a Happy Father's Day!

Veterans' Town Hall

Rep. Williams holds tele-town hall for NY-22 veterans

📞 We brought in the big guns this week for our first Veterans' Tele-Town Hall with the Chairman of the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs, Rep. Mike Bost. We took calls from NY-22 Veterans and discussed how my office can help deliver critical services to our veterans and their families.

We are fortunate to have an excellent VA in Syracuse, the best Veteran-focused university in the nation in Syracuse University, and so many excellent veteran service organizations (VSO’s) like the American Legion and VFW in NY-22.

Our veterans are hurting and my office is stepping up to help. These brave heroes who put their lives on the line to protect us, deserve not only our gratitude, but genuine support that is effective and efficient.

BBQ At Clear Path, More Time With Veterans

Clear Path for Veterans in Chittenango is incredibly special. Get involved if you have never visited or participated in one of their events. I attended the Red, White, and Blue BBQ at Clear Path for Veterans.

Alex Behm and the staff provide invaluable support to so many veterans in our community. I appreciate their incredible work and thank them for their service.

The Most Abundant Energy Source In The Universe:

Fusion is the process that fuels our sun and all the stars in the Universe. Harnessing this power to generate energy on earth is quite possibly within our grasp — progressing from a scientific experiment to commercial reality.

Honoring A Vietnam Veteran

I had the honor and privilege of posthumously recognizing United States Air Force Captain John D. Nolander’s family with service medals he earned for his valorous service.

John served as a Strategic Minuteman missile officer, the land-based equivalent of my own service on submarines.

Captain Nolander also served as interim Chief of Intelligence at the Air Force Research Laboratory in Rome. We honor and commend the life and service of this hero.

I have 500 days at sea on a submarine, so my heart goes out to the OceanGate crewmen and their families. As the only nuclear submarine veteran to serve in Congress in the last fifty years, I had the opportunity to share my thoughts with the nation hoping and then grieving for the lost explorers.

PASSAGE Of My Bi-Partisan Resolution To Protect Schools And Children

Rep. Williams speaks on House Floor in support of his resolution

Rep. Miller-Meeks & I introduced H.Res.461, clearly stating that Congress WILL NOT tolerate officials at the state and local level using taxpayer-funded schools to play cleanup for Biden & the progressive-left’s broken border policies.

On Thursday, my resolution was passed!
