Happy Easter Sunday! Stephanie and I wish you new hope, happiness, prosperity, and abundance, all received through God’s divine grace!
In the past month, the House of Representatives passed key legislation for the American people.
To tackle inflation we voted, both Republicans and Democrats alike, to unleash American energy and to put money back in your pocket by passing the Lower Energy Costs Act. To give parents more control and oversight into your children's education, we passed the Parents Bill of Rights Act. And to support our small family farms, we voted to limit federal overreach by passing a repeal of WOTUS's expansion.
Additionally, in the past month, my office has completed its FY24 funding requests for projects across the 22nd Congressional district in support of local economic activity, infrastructure projects, municipal services, and public safety initiatives. To ensure all federal funding is spent appropriately and transparently, all approved requests by my office will be available for the public to view on my website this upcoming week.
